In this position you will: Assist in delivering out the responsibilities for the overall work spritz of the shift in OR specimen cart preparation to which he/she is assigned. Responsible for the overall coordination of prescribed specimen cart related duties as per the established job duty list.Succeedspecimen cart related tasks virtuously and completely to ensure the surgical staff have all the necessary supplies and instruments needed to succeed the designated surgical procedure. Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: High school graduation or equivalent Able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in the English language. Prior training and 3 years wits in surgical instrument processing setting or materials management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications for this position include: Recent wits in OR materials management or as an OR technician. Working knowledge of surgical instrumentation and supplies. Prior operating room and sterile processing experience.
